New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (NREDCAP) has floated a tender to develop a 1 MW grid-connected rooftop solar system on Siva Sadan, Vishnu Sadan, and Hari Hara Sadan Choultries at Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy Vari Devastanam, Satyagiri, Annavaram, Kakinada District.

The last date for the submission of bids is October 26, 2023. Bids will be opened on the next day.

The scope of the work includes design, engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning, operation, and maintenance for a period of ten years of the solar rooftop project.

Bidders must pay ₹1 million (~$1,201), along with an 18% GST, as the bid processing fee.

Bidders will also have to furnish ₹600,000 (~$7,207) as an earnest money deposit.

The bid security must remain valid for the entire proposal validity period, including any extensions, and should be extended if requested by NREDCAP.

The successful bidder must provide a performance bank guarantee amounting to 10% of the purchase order or contract’s EPC value, including taxes and duties, within one month from the date of receiving the letter of intent or purchase order.

Bidders can be a publicly listed or privately held company, a partnership firm, or a proprietary concern.

They must demonstrate a cumulative annual turnover of at least ₹60 million (~$720,779) for the past three financial years, ending with March 2023.

Bidders must have experience in designing, supplying, erecting, and commissioning SPV-based grid-connected/interactive power plants with a combined installed capacity of 500 kW or more over the last three years, either at a single project or multiple projects.

They must also possess experience in designing, supplying, erecting, and commissioning SPV-based grid-connected/interactive power plants with an installed capacity of 100 kW at a single location over the last three years with NREDCAP.

The company should be empanelled under solar rooftops with NREDCAP for the year 2023-24.

Last year, NREDCAP issued a levelized tariff for the empanelment of bidders to implement grid-connected rooftop solar systems in Andhra Pradesh under the renewable energy service company model for 25 years.
