Almighty Green Energy has won Solar Energy Corporation of India’s (SECI) auction for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of its 10 MW ground-mounted solar power project at Badi Sid, Rajasthan.

The total award value for the contract stands at ₹41.2 million (~$470,000).

The tender was floated this July.

The company will be responsible for the complete O&M of the project, which includes ensuring consistent operational performance and maintaining all plant equipment for a period of five years. The scope of work also mandates providing comprehensive insurance coverage for the entire duration of the contract.

The contract also covers the repair or replacement of any defective equipment, as well as the provision of tools, tackle, logistics, test kits, manpower, and technical experts necessary for efficient plant operation.

The company will also be responsible for forecasting and scheduling power generation in coordination with the state load dispatch center. Cleaning solar modules must be carried out at least three times a month.

The successful bidder must guarantee a minimum power generation of 21% throughout the contract period.

Jaipur-based Almighty Green Energy provides O&M, engineering, procurement and construction, connectivity and transmission, and land aggregation solutions to the renewable energy industry. It has a portfolio of over 1,300 MW of O&M projects.

Recently, eleven companies won SECI’s Tranche XX auction to set up 2,000 MW interstate transmission system-connected solar projects, along with 1,000 MW/4,000 MWh energy storage systems.

In September this year, SECI invited bids to install 3,640 kW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects spread across 11 government institutions in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Odisha, and Uttarakhand (Tranche IV).

In the same month, SECI issued a request for selection to install 13,043 kW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects on government buildings in Puducherry (Tranche-V). The systems will be installed under the renewable energy service company (RESCO) mode.
