Adani Green’s Q3 Profits Jump 84%, Operational Capacity Up 37%
The company added 3,131 MW of greenfield capacity

Renewable energy company Adani Green Energy (AGEL) reported an 84.07% year-over-year (YoY) growth in net profit for the third quarter (Q3) of the financial year (FY) 2025, reaching ₹5.43 billion (~$62.79 million), up from ₹2.95 billion ($34.11 million).
The company’s revenue decreased 1.68% year over year to ₹26.3 billion (~$304.16 million) in Q3 FY 2025 from ₹26.75 billion (~$309.36 million).
It reported an earnings per share (EPS) of ₹2.92 (~$0.0337) at a face value of ₹10 (~$0.1156) per share during the quarter, up from ₹1.42 (~$0.016) in Q3 FY 2024.
The company’s earnings before interest, tax depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) increased 13% YoY to ₹18.48 billion (~$213.72 million) from ₹16.38 billion (~$189.43 million).
9M FY25
In the first nine months (9M) of FY 2025, AEGL’s net profit grew 90.25% YoY to ₹17.58 billion (~$203.31 million) from ₹9.24 billion (~$106.86 million).
Its consolidated revenue increased 18.97% YoY to ₹91.06 billion (~$1.05 billion) from ₹76.54 billion (~$885.2 million).
The EPS was ₹7.11 (~$0.082), increasing from ₹5.44 (~$0.062) in 9M FY 2024.
The company’s energy sales increased 23% YoY at 20,108 million units in 9M FY 2025.
Its EBITDA increased 18% to ₹63.66 billion (~$736.24 million) from ₹54.12 billion (~$625.90 million) in 9M FY 2024.
AGEL’s operational capacity rose by 37% to 11,609 MW with a greenfield addition of 3,131 MW. The capacity additions comprised 2,113 MW of solar and 312 MW of wind capacity in Khavda, 580 MW of solar capacity in Rajasthan, and 126 MW of wind capacity in Gujarat.
In Khavda Solar Park, 2.4 GW is operational, and the company aims to reach 30 GW by 2029.
AGEL signed a $3.4 billion (~₹293.92 billion) construction framework agreement to ensure fully funded growth.
It has also signed power purchase agreements with Maharashtra state electricity distribution companies to supply 5 GW of solar power for 25 years.
Amit Singh, CEO, Adani Green Energy, said the company enhanced its supply chain to align with current and future regulations. It advanced its power purchase agreement pipeline through active tender participation and is focusing on large-scale battery energy storage system deployments, leveraging recent cost reductions.
AGEL generated a revenue of ₹23.09 billion (~$274.63 million) from power supply in Q2 FY 2025, a 16% YoY increase from ₹19.84 billion (~$235.97 million).
The company’s revenue surged 24% YoY to ₹25.28 billion (~$301 million) in the first quarter of financial year 2025, driven primarily by capacity additions.
