<p><a href="https://www.ultraviolette.com/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ultraviolette</a>, an electric vehicle (EV) and infrastructure company, announced the acquisition of <a href="https://www.triloki.tech/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Triloki</a> Smart Systems, a connected vehicle technology start-up, in a push towards scaling its automotive intelligence platform across multiple products and geographies.</p>
<p>Triloki Smart Systems, a Bengaluru-based technology start-up, powers connected vehicle ecosystems with advanced device technology and next-gen riding experiences.</p>
<p>Ultraviolette intends to use Triloki’s connected vehicle technology to help build customized software for its EV users. Ultraviolette has actively developed an Automotive Intelligence Platform, the software-based backbone for its connected vehicles. It enables direct data-based insights, intelligent diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and a feature enabling performance-oriented owner personalization of its new F77 EV through Over-the-Air updates.</p>
<p>Ultraviolette’s flagship product, the F77, will launch in India in the first half of 2022, followed by North America and Europe planned for 2023. The company aims to enable advanced performance, seamless user experience, and clean mobility through the F77 and its Connected Vehicle platform.</p>
<p>The company claims that its high-performance electric motorcycle, F77, was built with principles used in the aviation industry. With an acceleration of 0 to 60 km/hour in 2.9 seconds, a top speed of 140 km/hour, and a range of 200 km on a single charge, the F77 comes with remote diagnostics over-the-air (OTA) upgrades, regenerative braking, multiple ride modes, bike-tracking, ride diagnostics and other features.</p>
<p>Talking about the acquisition, the CEO at Ultraviolette, Narayan Subramaniam, said, “We welcome the exceptional team at Triloki to the Ultraviolette fold. At Ultraviolette, all our products are designed with the aim of delivering an unparalleled user experience, and that’s where Triloki’s expertise in building customized software-enabled solutions will play an integral role. We are thrilled to be working with the excellent engineering team from Triloki”.</p>
<p>In an interview with Mercom previously, Subramaniam had <a href="https://mercomindia.com/startups-expand-indias-ev-interview/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> that by 2025-26, Ultraviolette is looking to be a dominant player in the electric mobility segment. The company is developing in-house battery technologies and working on the other parts of EVs, including vehicle architecture and their scalability to different segments and platforms.</p>
