<p>The National Institute of Solar Energy (<a href="https://nise.res.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NISE</a>), an autonomous body formed under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), has issued a tender to set up ignitability test facilities for solar photovoltaic (PV) modules per IEC 61730-2:2016 (MST 24) at its premises in Gurugram, Haryana.</p>
<p>The bid-submission deadline is July 20, 2018.</p>
<p>The scope of work includes the design, development, supply, installation, and commissioning of ignitability tests facilities for solar PV modules. The test lab must be complete in all respect within six months from the date of issue of confirmed work order.</p>
<p>In addition to the checks and tests recommended by the manufacturer, the contractor will supervise the acceptance tests to be carried out on each set. Systems and spares supplied should be covered by the standard terms of warranty for a period of 24 months from the date of installation or 30 months from the date of delivery, whichever is earlier, for manufacturing defects or performance.</p>
<p>During this period, they should provide all services and spare parts required, emergency call back service, inspect and clean where necessary, adjust machinery, replace any defective parts for repair and maintenance within 24 hours of communication of such services.</p>
<p>The bidder will also have to provide the tentative project time schedule chart to complete the project at the time of bid submission and adhere to it. If the bidder is not able to complete the project in time, the work order may be cancelled and earnest money deposit (EMD) may be forfeited.</p>
<p>All the charges like transporting (or shipping), packing, insurance, unpacking, loading, unloading, labor, and managerial works to carry out the mentioned works shall be borne by the bidder and the related cost shall be included in the contract price.</p>
