<p>The adoption of solar PV systems in Singapore has accelerated over the last three years with cumulative solar installations reaching 129.8 MW in the first quarter of 2017, according to the Energy Market Authority (EMA) of Singapore.</p>
<p>The installed capacity of grid-connected solar PV systems increased from 33.1 MW in 2014 to 59.7 MW in 2015, and 129.8 MW by the end of 1Q 2017, according to EMA.</p>

<p>Non-residential private sector installations (46 percent of total installed capacity or 59.6 MW) and town councils &amp; grassroots units (45 percent or 58.1 MW) accounted for a major portion of the installed capacity. Residential installations (6.1 MW) and installations by public service agencies (6 MW) contributed to the remaining solar PV capacity.</p>
