					</table><p><a href="https://www.ntpc.co.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NTPC Limited</a> has invited bids to supply, install, and commission solar cold storage units in Senegal, Djibouti, Sudan, and Seychelles. Bidders from International Solar Alliance (ISA) member countries will be eligible to participate in the bidding.</p>
<p>The scope of work includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of the solar-based cold storage system in Senegal (5MT), Djibouti (2 x 2MT), Sudan (5MT), and Seychelles (5MT). The scope also includes a one-year standard warranty and two years extended warranty.</p>
<p>The last date to submit the bids on July 25, 2022. Bids will be opened on July 26.</p>
<p>Within 28 days after receiving the Letter of Award, the successful bidder should furnish performance security for 10% of the contract price.</p>
<p>The bidder should have supplied, installed, and commissioned solar cold storage units with a cumulative capacity of 25MT. The reference plants with a cumulative minimum capacity of 10 MT must have been in operation for at least one year from the date of commissioning.</p>
<p>The reference solar cold storage plant should consist of a system of minimum 2MT capacity at a single location supplied, installed, and commissioned by the bidder.</p>
<p>Bidders should be duly incorporated and registered under the laws of their countries of domicile in one of the member countries of ISA.</p>
<p>The average annual turnover of the bidders should not be less than $100,000 (~₹7.9 million) during the last three financial years as of the bid opening date. If they do not satisfy the average annual turnover criteria stipulated above on their own, their holding companies would be required to meet the turnover requirements.</p>
<p>Each solar module&#8217;s capacity should not be less than 300 W, and no negative tolerance from quoted power rating on the solar modules should be allowed in any string of the inverter.</p>
<p>The solar modules to be used for the projects must be warranted for their output peak watt capacity, which should not be less than 90% at the end of 10 years and 80% at the end of 25 years.</p>
<p>In 2020, NTPC had <a href="https://mercomindia.com/ntpc-invites-bids-for-solarization/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> expressions of interest for the solarization of 47 least developed countries and small island developing states member countries of ISA. The ISA had engaged NTPC as the implementation partner for the projects.</p>
