<p>Rail Coach Factory Raebareli (<a href="https://mcf.indianrailways.gov.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">RCFRBL</a>), a rail coach manufacturing unit of the Indian Railways, has issued a notice inviting tender to operate and maintain 3 MW of solar projects at the Modern Coach Factory in Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, for three years.</p>
<p>The last day to submit the bids is June 28, 2022. Bids will be opened on the same day.</p>
<p>Bidders must furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹132,700 (~$1,706). The successful bidder must submit a performance guarantee amounting to 10% percent of the contract value within thirty days from the acceptance letter. The performance guarantee should be submitted in four parts of 2.5% each of the contract value.</p>
<p>Bidders must have supplied, erected, tested, and commissioned a solar power project with converter and electrical switchgear of at least 1 MW capacity or should have undertaken an annual maintenance contract of a solar power project of at least 1 MW capacity.</p>
<p>They should have completed one similar work of a minimum of 35% of the advertised value of the bid during the last three financial years and the current financial year up to the date of opening of tender.</p>
<p>Bidders must have received contractual payments amounting to at least 150% of the advertised value of the tender in the previous three financial years and the current financial year up to the date of opening of tender. They must submit certificates that may be attested by the client or furnish their audited balance sheet certified by a chartered accountant.</p>
<p>Bidders should have access to or must have available liquid assets, lines of credit, and other financial means to meet cash flow valued at 5% of the estimated bid value net of the applicant&#8217;s commitments for other contracts. The audited balance or a banking reference certified by a chartered accountant must be submitted.</p>
<p>Recently, the Eastern Railway <a href="https://mercomindia.com/railways-tender-rooftop-solar-projects-west-bengal/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">issued</a> a tender to install 1.5 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems without battery energy storage across multiple sites in West Bengal.</p>
