					</table><p>The Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam (<a href="https://energy.rajasthan.gov.in/jdvvnl/#/home/dptHome" target="_blank" rel="noopener">JDVVNL</a>) has floated three tenders for installing and commissioning 65 grid-connected solar power projects with a total capacity of 163.52 MW in various subdivisions of Sri Ganganagar Circle under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) program for feeder-level solarization.</p>
<p>The projects will be developed under the renewable energy service company (RESCO) model. The tender is floated for 20.16 MW, 64.36 MW, and 79 MW solar projects.</p>
<p>The successful bidder must oversee the project&#8217;s operation and maintenance for 25 years.</p>
<p>The project developer will be responsible for providing and installing the relevant 33 kV or 11 kV line (depending on the specific case) that will connect the projects to the respective 33/11 kV substation. This will encompass the provision of bays, breakers, and the metering system at the substation.</p>
<p>The estimated project cost is ₹35 million (~$426,363)/MW.</p>
<p>Bidders must submit ₹100,000 (~$1,218)/MW of the quoted capacity as an earnest money deposit for all three tenders.</p>
<p>The successful bidders must furnish ₹500,000 (~$6,091)/MW of the allotted capacity as a performance bank guarantee.</p>
<p>The selected bidder must enter into a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with the <a href="http://103.122.36.131/content/raj/energy-department/en/departments/ruvnl/home.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam</a> based on the levelized tariff approved by the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission. The PPA must be executed within seven days of submitting the performance bank guarantee.</p>
<p>Only well-established and operational technologies are permissible for the projects to reduce technology risks and ensure timely commissioning.</p>
<p>To participate in the bidding process, landowners, farmers, or any individual possessing the required land for the project must submit an undertaking certifying the ownership of assets of at least 20% of the total cost of the quoted capacity.</p>
<p>The bidders must have a minimum average annual turnover of at least 30% of the total cost of the quoted capacity over the past three financial years.</p>
<p>The solar project developer shall be accountable for installing the necessary number of solar modules and related equipment to achieve a minimum capacity utilization factor of 19%.</p>
<p>JDVVNL has mandated using domestically produced modules listed on the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.</p>
<p>If RUVNL fails to make the monthly bill payments to the solar power generator by their due date, it will result in a late payment surcharge of 1.25% per month on the outstanding amount, calculated on a daily basis.</p>
<p><strong>Tender for 20.16 MW of Solar Projects</strong></p>
<p><strong> </strong>In the first tender, JDVVNL has invited bids for installing and commissioning eight grid-connected solar power projects with a total capacity of 20.16 MW in the Anoopgarh, Gharsana, and  Rawala subdivisions.</p>
<p>The last date to submit the bids online is August 29, 2023. Bids will be opened on September 1.</p>
<p><strong>Tender for 64.36 MW of Solar Projects</strong></p>
<p>The second tender has been floated for installing and commissioning 28 grid-connected solar power projects with a total capacity of 64.36 MW in the Gajsinghpur, Padampur, Raisinghnagar, and Shri Karanpur subdivisions.</p>
<p>The last date to submit the bids online is September 4, 2023. Bids will be opened on September 6.</p>
<p><strong>Tender for 79 MW of Solar Projects</strong></p>
<p>The third tender has been floated for installing and commissioning 29 grid-connected solar power projects with a total capacity of 79 MW in the Gajsinghpur, Padampur, Raisinghnagar, and Shri Karanpur subdivisions.</p>
<p>The last date to submit the bids online is September 5, 2023. Bids will be opened on September 8.</p>
<p>Recently, JDVVNL <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/rajasthan-bids-75-mw-solar-projects-under-kusum" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids to install and commission 29 grid-connected solar projects with a total capacity of 74.8 MW under Component C of the PM-KUSUM program for feeder-level solarisation.</p>
<p>Earlier, JDVVNL had <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/rajasthan-bids-295-mw-solar-projects-kusum" target="_blank" rel="noopener">floated</a> three tenders for installing and commissioning 108 grid-connected solar power projects with a total capacity of 295.32 MW in various subdivisions of Hanumangarh Circle under Component C of the PM-KUSUM program for feeder-level solarization.</p>

Jodhpur DISCOM Floats Tenders for 163 MW of Solar Projects Under KUSUM

<p>Vedanta Limited, a subsidiary of Cairn Oil &amp; Gas, is planning to develop a solar project for captive consumption in the state of Rajasthan.</p>
<p>The company has issued a notice inviting expressions of interest (EoIs) to develop the solar photovoltaic (PV) project with a minimum capacity 20 MW and a maximum capacity 50 MW.</p>
<p>The project will be developed in Rajasthan’s Barmer district. The bid-submission deadline is February 6, 2018.</p>
<p>The scope of work for the project includes conceptualization, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and power evacuation.</p>
<p>The successful bidder will be responsible for five years of operation and maintenance (O&amp;M) services following project commissioning.</p>
<p>According to the notification issued by <a href="https://www.cairnindia.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cairn</a>, bidders must have executed a minimum of one contract of 20 MW or more of PV module-based solar power plants within the last three years.<span style="color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;"> </span></p>
<p>According to Mercom’s <a href="https://mercomindia.com/product/india-solar-project-tracker/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">India Solar Project Tracker</a>, Rajasthan has an installed capacity of over 2,100 MW of solar power.</p>
