<p>The <a href="https://www.ntpc.co.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">National thermal Power Corporation (NTPC)</a> has tendered a 2 MW grid connected solar PV multi-technology test bed at NTPC Energy Technology research Alliance (NETRA), under domestic competitive bidding. NETRA is located in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida region.</p>
<p>The scope of work includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of all the components along with civil foundations for different mounting structures, different PV modules, DC cabling, string inverters, AC cabling, port cabin, AC evacuation system, interconnection, setting up SCADA and monitoring system, required software, soiling station, weather station, panel washing system and other works for the completion of the test bed in all respect.</p>
<p>Important dates regarding the tender are as follows.</p>

<li>Technical opening date: October 31, 2018</li>
<li>Bid opening date: November 9, 2018</li>
<li>Last query date: October 19, 2018</li>
</ul>
<p>NTPC has also chalked out qualifying requirements for the prospective bidders.</p>
<p><a href="https://mercomindia.com/ntpc-tenders-22mw-floating-solar-kerala/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Recently,</a> NTPC had tendered a 22 MW grid-connected floating solar project to be developed at Rajiv Gandhi Combined Cycle Power Plant (RGCCPP) Kayamkulam in Kerala.</p>
<p>In <a href="https://mercomindia.com/ntpc-tenders-2-75-gw-solar/#cd-search451" target="_blank" rel="noopener">March, 2018</a>, NTPC tendered a total of 2,750 MW of grid-connected solar projects to be developed across the country. In recent past, NTPC has tendered a total of 751 MW of solar under domestic content requirement (DCR) category. These include a <a href="https://mercomindia.com/ntpc-seci-announce-230-mw-solar-tenders-dcr-category/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">225 MW</a> grid-connected solar project under the DCR category in Uttar Pradesh, <a href="https://mercomindia.com/ntpc-tenders-35-mw-solar-dcr-category/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">35 MW </a>tendered for captive use by NTPC projects, <a href="https://mercomindia.com/ntpc-tenders-241-mw-solar-dcr-category/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">241 MW </a>of solar to be developed across the states of Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan, and <a href="https://mercomindia.com/ntpc-tenders-250-mw-solar-dcr-category/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">250 MW </a>of solar to be developed anywhere in India.</p>
<p>NTPC has also re-tendered <a href="https://mercomindia.com/ntpc-retenders-250-mw-solar-pavagada-solar-park-karnataka/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">250 MW </a>of solar at Pavagada Solar Park in Karnataka under DCR category in March 2017.</p>
