<p>Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) tendered a 2 MW rooftop solar project to be developed at Diesel Loco Modernization Works (DMW) Patiala. The bid-submission deadline is July 27, 2017.</p>
<p>The scope of work includes, balance of system (BOS) supply, erection, design, and commissioning of the rooftop solar project. The successful bidder will provide operation and maintenance (O&amp;M) services for a five-year period. The bidder will be responsible for obtaining approval from the concerned distribution company (DISCOM) for connectivity, technical feasibility, and synchronization of the project with the grid.</p>
<p>The project completion timeframe is 12 weeks from the date of issue of preliminary order. The successful bidder shall provide a warranty covering the rectification of all defects in the design of equipment, material, and workmanship of manufacturing of equipment for a period of 12 months after project commissioning.</p>
