<p>Haryana Power Generation Company Limited (<a href="http://www.hpgcl.org.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">HPGCL</a>) has issued a tender for three grid-connected solar photovoltaic projects of a total capacity of 57 MW.</p>
<p>The scope of work under this tender includes the design, supply, procurement, engineering, construction, and commissioning of the projects which will be set up at three different locations.</p>
<p>The project will be developed on a build, operate, and transfer (BoT) basis for 25 years. Selected developers will also be responsible for the operation and maintenance of solar projects through that period.</p>
<p>In <a href="https://mercomindia.com/haryana-floats-two-tenders-solar/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">June 2019</a>, the HPGCL had issued similar tenders for the development of 73 MW of grid-connected solar photovoltaic projects in the state.</p>
<p>Locations of projects to be developed:</p>
<ul>
<li>30 MW at Ash Dyke Area, Faridabad Thermal Power Station (FTPS), Faridabad</li>
<li>15 MW at the Deenbandhu Chotu Ram Thermal Power Plant (DCRTPP), Yamuna Nagar</li>
<li>12 MW at Western Yamuna Canal (WYC), Yamuna Nagar</li>
</ul>
<p>Projects will be allocated based on the lowest quoted levelized tariff for 25 years. HPGCL has set the ceiling tariff for bids at ₹3.30/kWh ($0.046).</p>
<p>The earnest money deposit (EMD) amount has been set at ₹1 million/MW ($14,000). According to the tender documents, the projects should be commissioned within ten months from the date of receiving the letter of intent or signing of the power purchase agreements (PPA), whichever is earlier.</p>
<p>The last date for the submission of bids for this tender is October 18, 2019.</p>
<p>In <a href="https://mercomindia.com/haryana-retender-300-mw-solar/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">July 2019</a>, the Haryana Power Purchase Company had invited Requests for Proposal (RfP) for the procurement of power from 300 MW of solar projects. The tender was floated on behalf of the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN).</p>
