<p>Central Public Works Department (<a href="https://cpwd.gov.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CPWD</a>) has invited bids to install 1.65 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems and ground-mounted solar systems at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) in Berhampur, Odisha.</p>
<p>The successful bidder will also have to take care of the operation and maintenance of the project for five years.</p>
<p>The scope of work includes the design, engineering, obtaining a no-objection certificate from the distribution company (DISCOM) for grid connectivity, manufacture, supply, construction, erection, associated civil works, and testing &amp; commissioning works for the rooftop solar and ground-mounted systems.</p>
<p>The last date to submit the bids online is June 21, 2022. Bids will be opened on the same day.</p>
<p>The project&#8217;s estimated cost is ₹110.86 million (~$1.43 million).</p>
<p>The project must be completed within nine months.</p>
<p>Bidders will have to submit ₹2.11 million (~$27,134) as an earnest money deposit. The successful bidder will have to furnish an amount equivalent to 3% of the tendered value as a performance bank guarantee.</p>
<p>Bidders should have satisfactorily completed three similar works, each costing not less than ₹44.35 million (~$570,341), or two similar works, each costing not less than ₹66.52 million (~$855,447), or one similar work costing not less than ₹88.69 million (~$1.14 million) during the last seven years.</p>
<p>The value of executed works will be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at the rate of 7% per annum, calculated from the date of completion to the last date of bid submission.</p>
<p>The average annual financial turnover of the bidders should be at least ₹55.43 million (~$712,830) during the last three consecutive financial years. They should not have incurred any loss (profit after tax should be positive) in more than two years during the immediate past five consecutive years.</p>
<p>Bidders should have a bank solvency certificate for ₹44.35 million (~$570,341).</p>
<p>Alternatively, bidders should have a net worth of at least ₹11.09 million (~$142,617).</p>
<p>The output peak watt capacity of the solar modules should not be less than 90% at the end of ten years and 80% at the end of 25 years.</p>
<p>Recently, Odisha Renewable Energy Development Agency <a href="https://mercomindia.com/bids-rooftop-solar-systems-solar-streetlights-odisha/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> bids for the design, engineering, supply, installations, testing, and commissioning of 1.058 MW of rooftop solar systems and 44 solar street lighting systems at government buildings.</p>
